d'Arnaud to Mets

It appears the Mets have traded Cy Young Award winner  R.A. Dickey to Toronto, in a 7-player deal.  Included in the deal is 23-year old Travis d'Arnaud, one of my favorite HomeSiders.  The deal is contingent on Dickey signing a contract extension by Tuesday.

Worley, May dealt to Minnesota

The Phillies have traded Vance Worley and Trevor May to the Minnesota Twins for outfielder Ben Revere.   Revere is 24 years old and has a lifetime .278 average.

Worley should fit right into the Twins' rotation, and  May could have a shot a winning a job in spring training, as Twins like to go with young pitchers.
