d'Arnaud goes deep again

In Las Vegas, Travis d'Arnaud (.343) was 4 for 5, including his 15th home run, knocking in 3 runs (45)  to pace the 51s to a 9-3 win over Tucson.  Anthony Gose (.296)  added 3 hits and a walk for Vegas, and Jesus Merchan, just signed by the Padres yesterday, had 2 hits for Tucson..........In Columbus, Greg Golson had single, a home run, a walk, scored 2 runs and stole his 11th base to lead the Charlotte Knights to a 13-6 win over the Clippers.  Jason Donald (.315) had 2 hits and 2 RBI for Columbus.......In Fresno, the Grizzlies won an 8-7, 13-inning marathon from Sacramento.  Michael Taylor (.337) had 2 hits and a walk, driving in a run for the River Cats........In Stockton, the Ports and Bakersfield split a pair of games.  Travis Mattair (.231) was 2 for 6 on the day, with an RBI for the Blaze.

Lehigh Valley, Reading and Lakewood were all rained out, and in Clearwater, the Threshers lost a 10-inning game to Tampa, 4-3.  Brody Colvin pitched very well,  allowing just 1 run on 2 hits in 6 innings, and Tyler Knigge threw another scoreless inning of relief.  Knigge's ERA is down to 0.79!!  Albert Cartwright drove in all 3 runs for Clearwater with a bases clearing double in the 7th inning.
