The biggest surprise to me is Carlos Carrasco being left off the Venezuelan roster, however Francisco Butto and Victor Moreno will both ride their success in the Caribbean Series to showcase themselves in the WBC. Carrasco, the #1 prospect in the system, will stay in Phillies camp where he will get a long look from the coaching staff before (I think) returning to Lehigh Valley to start the season.
Drew Naylor, Joel Naughton and Brad Harman will represent Australia, while Carlos Ruiz and Avelino Asprilla will take the field for Panama.
Jack Santora will be on the roster for Italy.
I believe that is all for our boys. The games begin on March 5.
