Wednesday night in Atlanta, the Braves made it 2 in a row over the Phillies with a 9-2 pounding, getting to Roy Halladay for 5 runs on 6 hits in just 3.1 innings. Domonic Brown had 2 hits, Ryan Howard was 0 for 3, and Freddy Galvis struck out in a pinch hitting appearance. Antonio Bastardo threw a scoreless inning, walking 1 and striking out 1 in the 6th inning...........In Toronto, Michael Bourn had a double and a walk, and scored a run for the Indians in their 3-2, 11 inning win over the Jays.
It is opening night around the minor leagues, as the BlueClaws open their 13th season at home against Kannapolis.
