Bruce Billings of the Asheville Tourists no hit the Lakewood BlueClaws in the finale of Lakewood's road trip Wednesday night in North Carolina. It was the first no hitter against the BlueClaws in the 8 year history of the team. Lakewood wrapped up the road trip with a 6-2 mark, and once again find themselves 3 games behind West Virginia, who topped Rome 12-10, as they head home to start an 8 game home stand beginning Friday against Kannapolis.
Last night in Buffalo, Chris Roberson had 3 hits, scored 2 runs and drove 1 in, in Norfolk's 8-5 win over the Bisons. Robey is batting .262 with 44 RBI and 17 stolen bases in 92 games for the Oriloes AAA affiliate.
