Happ stops Bulls..Ole!!

J.A. Happ continues to be one of the bright spots for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. James was on his game Monday, tossing 6 1-hit innings in Durham as the 'Pigs shut out the Bulls, 7-0. He walked 2 and struck out 9 to up his mark to 5-6, 3.73 on the year. R.J. Swindel (2.08) pitched a scoreless 7th for Lehigh Valley. Jason Jaramillo (.259) had a hit and his 19th RBI in the game. J.J. is 11 for 35 in his last 9 games and continues to come on after a very slow start to 2008.

Bobby Korecky picked up his 9th save of the year for Rochester last night in the Red Wing's 8-5 victory over Louisville. After a call-up to Minnesota where he got only 10.1 innings of work for the Twins, Bobby has been back with the Red Wings for about 3 weeks and back in his role as the closer.
