Threshers shine in FSL Star game

The Clearwater Threshers had 4 representatives in the FSL All-Star game last night and they all played well. Gus Milner played the whole game, batting 2nd in the line up, and got 5 at bats. Gus got a single and a walk and scored both times. Edgar Garcia pitched a 1-2-3 bottom of the 2nd inning, Brett Harker threw a scoreless 6th inning, striking out 2, and Matt German got the final out in the 7th and the first out in the 8th without allowing a run. A total of 2.2 innings pitched, with no runs in the West's 8-3 win. Drew Stubbs of Sarasota was named "Star of Stars".

Clearwater resumes regular play on Monday at home against Tampa.
