A quiet day on Wednesday with many teams having an off day, but there were a few things to report.
In Sarasota, Baltimore edged Toronto, 6-5. Anthony Gose had 2 walks, a sac bunt, and scored a run for the Blue Jays...............Over in Kissimmee, the Mets beat the Astros, 7-5. Jason Jaramillo got an at bat for Houston.
Out in Glendale, Gavin Floyd threw 5 innings for the White Sox, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits and a walk, striking out 5 in the Sox' 4-2 loss to the Diamondbacks. Tuffy Gosewisch, still in D-Backs camp, struck out in his only plate appearance.........In Tempe, Michael Bourn had a walk in 3 at bats for the Indians in their 6-5 loss to the Angels.
Big time cuts coming for all teams in the coming days as teams finalize their rosters for opening day.
