Collier leads 'Claws to win
Zack Collier had 3 hits, including a triple and Travis Mattair hit his first home run of the season, as the BlueClaws improved to 13-9 on the season with a 7-4 win over the Crawdads in Hickory. Jason Knapp evened his record at 2-2, going 5.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 4, to take his league leading total to 41. Justin De Fratus recorded 5 outs, giving up just 1 hit to lower his ERA to 0.98. Justin has struck out 21 batters so far this year, NO walks!! Brian (B.J.) Rosenberg threw the last 2 innings, striking out 4 of the 6 hitters he faced to pick up his 3rd save, and drop his ERA to 1.86. The BlueClaws are now 3-3 on their road trip and Heitor Correa will start the Finale tomorrow afternoon.
