Reading wins in 11

Michael Taylor had 5 hits Friday night, including his 9th home run of the year, driving in 4 runs in the R-Phils 8-7 win over New Hampshire. Taylor (.342, 37 RBI) scored the winning run on an error by Fisher Cats' third baseman Al Quintana. Quintin Berry (.281) had 3 more hits, and Mike Spidale (.294) hit his 2nd home run for Reading. Chance Chapman picked up his 2nd win in 2 days, throwing a 1-2-3 inning in the top of the 11th. Reading has won 7 of 9, improving to 26-20 on the year. Joe Savery (4-1) looks to keep it going tonight.
