In Nashville, Chris Roberson (.283) had a single, 2 walks, and an RBI for Reno in their 8-4 loss to the Sounds. Over in Memphis, Randy Ruiz (.290) got 2 more hits, and scored 2 runs to help Las Vegas to an 8-1 win over the Redbirds. Out west in Sacramento, Adrian Cardenas walked and scored a run in the River Cats 8-1 win over Albuquerque. In Lynchburg, Mike Dubee earned his first win of the season, throwing a 1-2-3 10th inning against Wilmington.
In Washington Friday, J.A. Happ earned his 2nd win of the season for Philadelphia, throwing 2 innings, giving up just 1 hit and 1 walk, striking out 3 in the Phillies' 10-6 win over the Nationals. Carlos Ruiz (.293) had 3 hits, a walk, and 2 RBI and Ryan Howard launched his 7th home run, a 3-run job.
