I came across another HomeSider on the Internet yesterday; Will Savage, a member of the 2006 championship team is in Dodger's camp so I will add him to my watch list to see where he ends up.
There was a minimum of HomeSiders in action Tuesday in major league games as most have been reassigned by now, but there are a few notes. Michael Bourn was 1 for 4 and drove in the Astros only run in Houston's 3-1 loss to the Nats....... Greg Golson, who has sat out a few weeks with an oblique strain, played yesterday for the Yankees and had 1 hit in 2 at bats in New York's 6-2 loss to Baltimore........Taylor Buchholz scoreless streak this spring has reached 12 innings, as the original BlueClaw threw another frame in the Mets 7-4 win over the Tigers.........Kyle Kendrick threw a shut out inning in relief of Cliff Lee in the Phillies' 5-4 win over the Jays. Ryan Howard (.294) was 1 for 3 and scored a run, and Carlos Ruiz (.129) was 1 for 2, also scoring a run.
On the back fields Tuesday, Zack Collier had 3 RBI and Aaron Altheer (probable 2011 Lakewood starter), Steve Susdorf and Brian Gump all had 3-hit games as the Phillies squads took 3 win and a draw. Cesar Hernandez and Harold Garcia each had 2 knocks while Francisco Diaz. Leandro Castro and Jeremy Barnes all hit home runs. Barnes also went deep TWICE on Monday. On the mound, Jarred Cosart, Chris Kissock, Ebelin Lugo, Jacob Diekman, Vance Worley and Justin De Fratus all worked in various games.
