Bourn swipes 2 more, Donald goes deep for Tribe

In Atlanta, Michael Bourn (.300) had 2 hits and a walk, drove in a run, scored another one, and stole 2 more bases for a major league leading total of 49. The Dodgers rallied for 5 in the 7th for an 8-6 victory..............In Kansas City, Jason Donald (.296) had 2 hits, including his first home run this year, to help the Indians to a 5-4 win over the Royals to stay 5.5 games in back of the surging Tigers..........In Miami, the Phillies beat the Marlins, 5-3. Carlos Ruiz (.279) had a hit and 2 walks and Mike Stutes (3.73, 2 hitters, 2 outs) and Antonio Bastardo (1.35, 3 hitters, 3 outs) each recorded a hold............Late last night in Oakland, Michael Taylor made his major league debut for the Athletics, going 0 for 3 with a walk in the A's 9-2 win over Seattle. Taylor becomes the 38th former BlueClaw to make it to the major leagues.


The Phillies placed Drew Carpeneter on waivers and he was immediately claimed by San Diego.
