Kendrick wins 5th, Brown hits 2 more!

In Philadelphia Wednesday night, Domonic Brown hit 2 more home runs (# 12 & 13), including the game winner, as the Phillies beat the Red Sox, 4-3.  That makes 5 home runs in the last 5 games for Domonic, the reigning NL player of the week!  Ryan Howard also went deep, his 7th, in support of Kyle Kendrick, who put in 6 solid innings (2 runs, 5 hits, 3 walks) to improve to 5-3, 3.27 this year.   It was win #22 for HomeSiders this year!!  Antonio Bastardo threw another scoreless frame, notching his 7th hold.


In Lakewood, the BlueClaws rallied from 3-0 down to take a 5-3 from Delmarva and sweep their series.  Art Charles had 2 hits, 2 walks, and 3 RBI to pace the attack, and Mitch Walding added 2 hits in Kevin Walter's Lakewood debut.  Walter went 4 innings, allowing a run on 4 hits, before yielding to Jeb Stefan, who won his first game of the season when Lakewood rallied.  The Claws will welcome West Virginia for a 4-game set, looking for a little revenge after dropping all 4 in Charleston last weekend............In Clearwater, Chris Seratella walked with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th , scoring Aaron Altherr and the Threshers walked off with a 5-4 win over the Manatees.  Kelly Dugan hit his 4th home run for Clearwater............In Bowie, Tommy Mendonca had 4 hits, Cameron Rupp had 3 hits and 3 RBI, and Edgar Duran and Jim Murphy added 2 hits each as the Reading Fightin Phils edged the BaySox, 6-5.

In Akron, Lou Marson was 1 for 3 in his first rehab game with the Aeros.  Lou was hurt on the opening weekend of the season and has been nbattling an array of injuries as a result.  Good to see he looks healthy and ready to g
