Reds stop Phillies

In Cleveland Saturday, Michael Bourn (.311) had 2 hits, stole 2 bases, and scored a run for the Indians, who made it 3 wins in a row with a 5-4 walk off win against Seattle.  Cleveland leads the AL Central at 24-17.............In Philadelphia, the Reds' Bronson Arroyo shut down the Phillies for a 10-0 Cincinnati win.  Kyle Kendrick was on the wrong end of things this time, going 6 innings and giving up 4 runs on 8 hits and 4 walks to slip to 4-2, 2.82 for the season.  After a scoreless 7th inning, BJ Rosenberg allowed 3 runs in the 8th before leaving. Domonic Brown had 2 of the Phillies 6 hits, and Ryan Howard was 1 for 4 on the day.  Alfredo Simon got the final 4 outs for the Reds...............In Denver, the Rockies beat the Giants, 10-2.  Josh Outman threw 2 innings, allowing a run on 3 hits for Colorado.

In Allentown, Jake Diekman tossed a 1-2-3 9th inning to record his 4th save, and the IronPigs beat Rochester, 3-2.................In Reading, Jim Murphy (.311) had 2 of the Fightin' Phils' 5 hits, including his 9th home run, but Reading dropped a 6-4 decision to Harrisburg.  David Buchanan (1-5,  5.65) was the Reading starter and went 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 and 2 walks.............In Tampa, Aaron Altherr (.331), Kelly Dugan (.305), and Chris Serritella had 2 hits each for the Threshers, who lost to the Yankees in 10 innings, 5-4............In Lakewood, Alejandro Villalobos and Mitch Walding had 2 hits each, but the BlueClaws lost an 8-5 game to Greensboro.



In Chattanooga, Brian Schlitter picked up his 2nd save of the year, as the Tennessee Smokies defeated the Lookouts, 7-5.  Brian allowed an UNearned run and has an ERA of 0.95 for the Cubs' affiliate..............In Midland, D'Arby Myers (.271) had a single, a double and a triple and knocked in 3 runs as the Rock Hounds beat Corpus Christi, 12-4. Myers' teammate Anthony Aliotti belted 3 home runs!!   Domingo Santana had 3 hits and 2 RBI for the Hooks.............In Toledo,  Quintin Berry had a pich hit, 2-run double in the 8th inning for the Mud Hens, who lost 6-4 to Syracuse..............In Buffalo, Anthony Gose had a single and a walk, and scored 3 times for the Bisons, but Charlotte won the game, 11-6...............In Round Rock, Lisalverto Bonilla won his 2nd game for the Express, who got past Colorado Springs, 6-5.  Bonilla has struggled to the tune of a 7.36 ERA in his adjustment to AAA ball.  Greg Golson was 0 for 3 for the SkySox.................In Sacramento, the River Cats scored 6 runs in the 5th inning en route to a 6-3 win over Oklahma City.  Jarred Cosart and Josh Zeid split the 6 runs between them.  It was the first loss of the year for Cosart, and Zeid- who has been very good- saw his ERA jump to 3.23 as he allowed 3 runs in just .2 innings.
