Art Charles and Larry Greene had 2 hits each, and Mitch Walding had a big 2-run double during the 4-run 6th inning rally that got Lakewood back in the game. Miguel Nunez fought his way through 6 innings, allowing 5 runs, 4 earned, on 11 hits, and NO walks. The win goes to Geoff Broussard, who threw 3 shut out innings, allowing just 3 hits, with 2 Ks, It was the 2nd win for Broussard, who is posting a 0.82 ERA in 11 innings so far for Lakewood. In Corpus Christi, the San Antonio Missions beat the Hooks, 6-2. I find old friend Adam Buschini playing for San Antonio, AA in the Padres system. Adam played 83 games for the BlueClaws in 2010, and has sat out 2 years before resurfacing this year in San Antonio, and is 9 for his last 28, including a home run yesterday.
