Carrasco in rotation

Carlos Carrasco will start the season #2 in the Indians rotation. Fausto Carmona will start the opener for the Tribe on Friday and Carlos will go on Saturday against the White Sox. The Sox have not released their starters after Mark Beuhrle, who will make his 9th straight opening day start for Chicago, but odds are Gavin Floyd will start one for the Sox......The Blue Jays have announced their rotation, and Kyle Drabek will pitch Saturday for Toronto against Minnesota......Cole Hamels will not pitch in the Houston series, but will get the first game against the Mets........The Astros have not announced yet, but Jay Happ figures to be one of their starters and could pitch against the Phillies right out of the gate......Tuffy Gosewisch was reassigned to minor league camp as the Phillies continue to trim their roster for opening day. I would guess Tuffy goes to Lehigh Valley this year, but I have been wrong in the past, so let's see.......B.J. Rosenberg threw 2 innings for the Phillies in their 6-1 win over the Braves Sunday, and Jordan Ellis fought off a hit and 2 walks, using 2 strike outs to retire the Braves without a run in the 9th.......Ryan Howard was 2 for 3, including his 5th home run of the spring.
