Harris, Donald lead R-Phils

Clay Harris and Jason Donald had 3 hits each, including a home run apiece, to back strong pitching from Fabio Castro, and the Reading Phillies defeated Bowie 5-1 Saturday night. Donald, preparing to head for China to represent Team USA in the Olympics, had a double to go with his 14th home run and drove in 2 (making 50 RBI for the year), while Harris had 2 singles and his 3rd home run of the week and is 11 for 30 (.367) in 10 games since joining Reading from Clearwater. Castro was solid, throwing 7 innings and giving up just 5 hits and 2 walks to improve to 7-1, 4.33 on the year. His only mistake was a home run ball thrown to Bowie's Luis Montanez. It was Montanez' 21st long fly this year, to go with a .310 average, and 69 RBI.
