HomeSiders gone west

In San Bernadino, California last night, Adrian Cardenas and Matt Spencer played their first game in the Oakland system, each picking up a hit in the Stockton Port's 8-3 loss to Inland Empire. The Ports are the equivalent level as the Threshers. The 3rd member traded to the A's, Josh Outman, was assigned to AA Midland in the Texas League.

Oakland has become the organization with the most HomeSiders. Scott Mitchinson , on Kane County's DL, and Gio Gonzalez, just called up to the major league team are also in their system.
