Gavin in a groove

Sunday in Seattle, Gavin Floyd dominated the Mariners for 7 shut out innings, before tiring in the 8th as the White Sox won 9-3. In all Floyd (12-10, 4.36) went 7.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits, NO walks(1 plunk), and struck out 6 as the Sox gained a game on the first place Tigers. The Cleveland Indians are falling out of it, losing to Kansas City 2-1. Jason Donald (.283 since recall) was 1 for 3 in that game.
