Jay Happ, sent to Oklahoma City by the Astros last weekend, made his first start for the RedHawks in Tucson, throwing 6 innings and allowing 1 UNearned run on just 4 hits and 3 walks, with 5 strike outs. Jay received no decision in the RedHawks' 2-1 victory............In Reno, Zack Segovia had control problems, walking 5 hitters and giving up 3 runs on 2 hits in just 1.2 innings of work for Nashville, who trailed the Aces 7-0 after 6. The Sounds then scored 10 runs in the 7th en route to an 11-9 win!!................In Manchester, Travis d'Arnaud (.330) had 2 more hits, Anthony Gose hit his 12th home run of the season, and Kevin Howard reported and played third base, getting a walk in 5 at bats, as the Fisher Cats beat Erie, 8-0.........In North Little Rock, Josh Zeid threw 2 perfect innings for Corpus Christi in the Hooks' 11 inning, 1-0 loss to the Travelers.........The Norfolk Tides scored the game winning run off Justin DeFratus and managed a 5-4 win over the IronPigs on Wednesday. DeFratus (2-2, 4.34) had thrown a scoreless 8th, but lost it in the final frame.
