In Jupiter, Florida, the Astros topped the Cardinals, 4-3. Michael Bourn had a single and 2 walks, and was caught stealing for only the second time this spring.
Out of minor league camp, these points of interest:
The Yankees take 3 of the 4 minor league contests from the Phillies. The AAA game went to NY, 2-1, with Mike Spidale driving in Lou Marson with the lone run for our side.
The AA game produced the only victory for the Phillies, a 5-0 in which 5 HomeSiders combined for the shutout. In order, Vance Worley, Joe Bisenius, Andrew Cruise, Will Savage and Francisco Butto allowed just 4 baserunners. Tim Kennelly scored 2 runs for the Phils.
In Tampa, the high A game went to the Yankees, 15-6. Freddy Galvis had 2 hits and 2 RBI, Luis Arzeno hit a pinch home run, Mike Durant was 1 for 4 (but it was a double off Andy Pettitte), and Matt Rizzotti and D'arby Myers each doubled and scored. Each side made 4 errors in that one. The low A game also went to NY, 14-4, so the Yankees scored a total of 29 runs on 39 hits in the two games. Needless to say, none of our pitchers had a good day, so I will give them a group pass and not mention any of them. With about 10 days to go in camp, some of them are probably in trouble.

rizzotti hit the double off pettitte, not durant. It was off the centerfield wall.
