The Braves edged Roy Halladay and the Phillies, 3-2 on Sunday, holding the Phillies to just 4 hits, one by Carlos Ruiz..........In Houston, the Mets beat the Astros, 7-4. Taylor Buchholz gave up a home run to his former Colorado teammate, Clint Barmes. It was the only run he allowed in 2 otherwise good innings. Sergio Escalona threw a scoreless inning for the Astros in his second appearance since his call up.
Joe Bisenius has been signed by the White Sox and assigned to AA Birmingham in the Southern League........In Mobile, Quintin Berry had a hit, a walk, drove in 2 runs and scored another as the Mudcats beat Mobile, 7-3!...........In Altoona, The Erie Sea Wolves edged the Curve, 2-1 in 13 innings. Mike Dubee tossed 2 scoreless extra-innings for the Curve............In Nashville, Michael Taylor had an RBI-double and scored a run in Sacramento's 8-run rally, one of 2 hits on the day for Taylor, but the Sounds came all the way back for a 9-8 win.
