Matt Rizzotti had 3 hits, including 2 home runs and drove in 4 runs to lead the Reading Phillies to a 13-4 win over the Sea Dogs in Portland. "Riz" hit a 3-un homer in the 7th inning to break open a close game and spark a 10-run outburst over the final 3 innings for Reading. Matt now has 8 home runs (3rd in EL) and 30 RBI (2nd in EL) to go with his .359 average (3rd in EL).
Carlos Rivero had 3 hits and 3 RBI, Cody Overbeck had 2 more hits and a walk, and Freddy Galvis had a double, a triple and 2 RBI. Tyson Brummett was the winning pitcher, going 2.2 innings of scoreless relief to improve to 2-1, 1.35 on the year. Justin De Fratus threw a scoreless 9th to finish off Portland.
