Taylor Buchholz has been moved to the 60-day disabled list by the Colorado Rockies. This means he will not be eligible to play until June at the earliest.
The Baltimore Orioles have announced Alfredo Simon will have Tommy John surgery and will miss the entire season. Simon had just won a spot in the Orioles rotation and appeared to be getting his break. NOT!!
