Drabek sharp again

Kyle Drabek won his second consecutive start, this time throwing 7 shut out innings as the Threshers topped the Flying Tigers, 8-1. Drabek allowed just 4 hits, NO walks, and struck out 9 to improve to 2-0, with a 1.50 ERA. Dan Brauer got the fist 2 outs in the 8th, giving up a run on 2 hits, before Michael Schwimer got the last 4 outs to seal the deal.

Freddy Galvis, (.304, 2 hits, a walk, 2 runs, RBI), Dominic Brown (.250, single, double run scored), Tim Kennelley (.375, 2 hits, run scored, RBI #7), Matt Rizzotti (.600, single, double, 2 walks, 4 RBI), Yonderman Rodriguez (.308, 2 hits, a walk, RBI), and Derrick Mitchell (.267, single, home run, 2 runs scored, RBI) all had multi-hit games for Clearwater, who improved to 4-1 on the year.

The Threshers and Flying Tigers will play a doubleheader tomorrow to make up yesterday's rain out.
