Wednesday in Dunedin, the BlueClaws defeated the Lansing Lugnuts, 4-3. Zack Collier homered for Lakewood, and Anthony Gose continued his hot hitting, with 2 hits and a walk, and 2 RBI. Santos Hernandez struck out 4 of the 5 hitters he faced and Ryan Bergh recorded the save throwing a scoreless 9th. I think I have 4 of the 5 in the rotation figured out: Tyler Cloyd, Justin DeFratus, Jacob Diekman, and Jason Knapp. I am still not sure of the 5th. Anybody out there with a clue?
The Dunedin Jays topped Clearwater, 6-4. Dominic Brown had a double and scored a run, and Jared ( "Simon says, game over") Simon picked up 2 Ks in a scoreless 9th.
Reading beat New Hampshire, 5-4. Michael Taylor (home run), Tuffy Gosewisch, Wilkin Ruan and Kevin Mahar had 2 hits each, and Sergio Escalona put up 2 zeros for Reading.
