A quick wrap of last nights late action before I head out for a day at Baseballtown.
Jason Jaramillo had 2 doubles, a walk and scored 2 runs in the Pirates' 10-1 beating of the Padres. JJ is hitting .384 so far filling in for Ryan Doumit.
Michael Bourn had a double and a home run in 6 at bats in the Astros' 9-8 11-inning defeat at the hands of the Brewers. Michael is off to a .291 start.
In Salt Lake City, Kevin Howard (.214) was 1 for 4 with a walk for Portland in Salt Lake's 9-3 victory, and in Sacramento, Randy Ruiz was 1 for 5, an RBI single (#20) in the River Cats 9-8 win over Las Vegas.
Off we go to watch Tyson Brummett take on Bowie for the red hot R-Phils.
