Threshers

As I was writing the post below, it appears the Threshers roster has been finalized. Thanks to Jeff Crupper in Clearwater, this is what we have.

10 of the 12 pitchers are former 'Claws: Dan Brauer, Chance Chapman, Kyle Drabek, Chris Kissock, Carlos Monasterios, Drew Naylor, Joe Rocchio, Julian Sampson, Jared Simon and Zack Sterner.

Infielders include Mike Durant, Fidel Hernandez, Freddy Galvis and Matt Rizzotti.

Derrick Mitchell has made the move to the outfield to play alongside Dominic Brown. They are joined by minor league vet Javis Davis and spring training sensation Arlon Quiroz.

And in the continuing overcrowded catching position, we have Orlando Guevara, Joel Naughton and Tim Kennelly. Kennelly saw some time in the outfield at Lakewood last year, so maybe there is some relief there.

Michael Cisco and Walter Tejeda are on the disabled list.

It looks as if Jay Miller and Alberto Cambero have been released.
