Lou Marson (.375) was 1 for 2 for Cleveland.........In Phoenix, Michael Taylor (.200) was 0 for 1 for Oakland in the Athletics' 6-3 victory over the Reds...............In Scottsdale, the Mariners topped the Diamondbacks, 7-1. Mike Zagurski threw a scoreless 9th frame for Arizona, striking out 2 of the 3 hitters he faced. The Giants roughed up the Brewers and Darren Byrd, 13-3. Byrd faced 7 hitters, recording just 1 out (5 hits, 1 walk, all 6 runners scored). The other half of the Brewers were pounded 6-1 by the Cubs, Adrian Cardenas (1 for 9) was 0 for 1 for Chicago. Adrian and Greg Golson, who was 0 for 1 for the Royals in their 5-2 win over Colorado, are both struggling to impress their new teams so far.
