It is said that you only get one chance to make a first impression. In Lakeland, Quintin Berry played his first game in a Detroit Tigers uniform, and had a hit and a walk, stole a base and scored a run for the Tigers in an 11-1 exhibition win against Florida Southern College.
Michael Taylor was 0 for 3, including the final out in Oakland's 8-5 loss to Seattle.
