Maloney, Flande still throwing zeros

The Phillies had the day off Wednesday, but we can start in Viera, where the Braves edged the Nationals, 3-2. Michael Bourn was 1 for 4 and stole a base for Atlanta, and the win went to Yohan Flande, who threw 2 shut out frames late, allowing 1 hit, and struck out 2, keeping his spring ERA at 0.00!! In Lakeland, Matt Maloney also tossed 2 shut out innings (1 hit, 1 walk, 3Ks) for Minnesota in the Twins 7-3 win over the Tigers. Maloney has yet to allow an earned run this spring, too..........In Sarasota, Anthony Gose walked, stole second and third, then reached on an error and scored in the 4-run 9th inning rally for Toronto to help the Jays to a 6-3 win over Baltimore.

In Surprise, Greg Golson had a 2-out pinch hit to drive in a run in the Royals 8-3 victory over Oakland........In Goodyear, the Giants defeated the Indians, 5-3. Lou Marson (.400) was 0 for 2 for the Tribe.
