Sunday in Toronto, the Blue Jays ended Cliff Lee's scoreless inning streak at 34, and topped the Phillies, 7-4. Carlos Ruiz had 2 hits and a walk, scoring a run and driving 1 in, and Ryan Howard and Domonic Brown picked up 1 hit each. Mike Stutes picked up the final 2 outs for Lee.
In Chicago, Rodrigo Lopez silenced the White Sox bats, and the Cubs beat the Sox and Gavin Floyd, 3-1. Gavin went 7 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits and 1 walk, while striking out 8, and is now 6-8 on the year.
The Athletics have optioned Josh Outman to Sacramento. Josh was 3-3 for the A's before being sent down.
