Carrasco pitches gem

Tuesday night, Cleveland-

In the best performance in his still young career, Carlos Carrasco showed why people think he can be a very good major league pitcher, throwing 8.1 shut out innings against the Twins as the Indians ended their losing streak, 1-0. Carlos (5-3, 4.52) allowed only 3 hits and 1 walk, and got out of the 1 jam he was in with a pop-up and a strike out. He threw 104 pitches, 72 for strikes, and left the game to roaring ovation from the Indian faithful. He stayed down in the zone all night with his fastball, and that slider has become a great weapon for him. The victory is the 4th in his last 5 starts.

Here we go now, Carlos!!
