In Rochester, excellent relief pitching from Andrew Carpenter and Mike Schwimer helped the IronPigs to a 9-4 come from behind win. Carpenter received credit for win with 3 inning of no-hit ball, just 1 walk allowed, with 2 strike outs. Schwimer put in the final 2 frames, giving up just 2 hits and 1 walk. Both of these guys have an ERA of 0.00!............Matt Rizzotti had 3 hits, including his 8th double and 2nd home run, driving in 2 runs and raising his average to .485, as the Reading Phillies pounded Akron, 9-5. Steve Susdorf (.385) had 2 hits and 2 walks, scoring 3 runs, and Derrick Mitchell, Harold Garcia and Carlos Rivero added 2 hits each. Rivero had a double and a home run and drove in 4. Chris Kissock made the start and it was rocky. In 3 innings, Chris gave up 5 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks, and his ERA is up to 7.00. Mike Cisco threw 4 shut out frames in relief to notch the win (2 hits, 2 walks, 1K), and Phillippe Aumont threw the final 2 innings, 6 up and 6 down.................The Threshers rallied for 3 in the 8th and another in the 9th to snatch a win from Brevard County, 4-2. The big hit was a bases clearing, 3-run double from Travis Mattair. After a slow start, "Moose" is up to .250 and climbing. Brian Gump had the only 2 hit game and drove in the insurance run in the 9th. Tyler Cloyd made the spot start for the injured Brody Colvin and made it through 3 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits and a walk, striking out 5. Jordan Ellis picked up the win, with 2 shut out innings in relief.
