Kendrick picks up win

In Miami, Kyle Kendrick was in the right place at the right time, tossing a scoreless inning and benefiting from a phillies rally to register his 3rd win of the season in the Phillies 5-3 win over the Marlins. It was the 20th major league win so far this year for HomeSiders.

Carlos Carrasco returned to the mound for the Indians, but a little rustiness and an opponent the quality of David Price conspired to give the Rays an 8-2 win. Carrasco went 5 innings, struggling with his control, and gave up 4 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks to suffer his 2nd loss of the year.

In Houston, Michael Bourn had a single and a double and drove in 2 runs to help the Astros defeat the Reds 4-3.
