Tribe to activate Carrasco

The Cleveland Indians are expected to activate Carlos Carrasco in time for his start tonight against the Rays. Carrasco (1-1) will try to extend Cleveland's home winning streak to 15 games.

In Houston Tuesday night, Sergio Escalona made his season debut, coming into the game in the 7th inning to face the Red's Jay Bruce. Sergio walked Bruce and was immediately replaced.

In Toronto, Kyle Drabek started for the Jays against the Red Sox. Kyle has been struggling, and last night he continued the learning process a rookie goes through. In 5 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 8 hits (including home runs by David Ortiz and Adrian Gonzalez) and 3 walks, striking out 5, throwing 109 pitches. He received no decision, and the Jays won in 10 innings, 7-6.

In Miami, the Marlins edged Roy Halladay and the Phillies 2-1. Ryan Howard provided the Phillies' run with his 8th home run of the year. The RBI was 32 for Ryno, which ties him for the major league lead with Lance Berkman of St. Louis.
