I am running out the door for work, but a quick mention of 2 of our Houston Astros. On Sunday , Jay Happ threw 6 strong innings and left the game with a 2-1 lead, which the bullpen lost. The big news here is Happ's first major league home run! It would have been a game winner if the pen could have saved it.
On Monday, Sergio Escalona threw a scoreless inning in a 6-6 tie, and when the Astros scored in the following frame, Sergio picked up his first win of the year. Sergio becomes the 12th former Claw to post a major league win this year, and it is the 34th win for HomeSiders overall.
