Garcia home run enough for Lakewood

After the bats have been carrying the Lakewood BlueClaws the last few days, Lakewood rode the strong arms of Trevor May (5 IP, 3 hits, 2 walks, 7 Ks), Freddy Ballestas (3 IP, 2 hits, NO walks) and Jacob Diekman (1 IP, 1 hit, 1 K, save #2) to a 1-0 win over Delmarva Sunday, winning a game in which they managed just 4 hits. Harold Garcia's 8th home run of the year in the top of the 1st was the difference. Sebastian Valle had a single and a double, and D'Arby Myers pick up the other hit (and stole his 16th base). The BlueClaws wrap up the regular season tonight in Maryland before heading to Kannapolis to open the playoffs Wednesday.
