Roth promoted
Rob Roth has been promoted to Clearwater, and is replaced on the roster by 2008 draftee Korey Noles. Noles, who has been with both the GCL Phillies and Williamsport this season, is another much needed lefty and will pitch Thursday night in the opener of the 5-game season ending series in Delmarva. The Phillies continue to tweak the roster for the playoffs.
