HomeSiders square off in Tennessee

Wednesday night in Chattanooga, Jesus Sanchez (for Huntsville) and Will Savage (for Chattanooga) faced each other in a Southern League game, with Savage and the Lookouts prevailing, 3-1. Savage went 6 shut out innings, giving up just 4 hits and 1 walk, striking out 6 to pick up his first win of the year. Sanchez threw 5 on the other side, charged with just 1 run on 4 hits and 4 walks, pickin gup 3 Ks and losing his first decision of the year.........In Altoona, Mike Dubee tossed a 1-2-3 8th inning for the Curve in Altoona's 3-2 win over Harrisburg, recording his 3rd "hold" of the season...........Travis d'Arnaud had his 3rd consecutive 2 -hit game for New Hampshire, including a double and an RBI and is 6 for his last 12 after an agonizing start. Anthony Gose was 0 for 5, and is just 3 for his last 24, as the Fisher Cats topped New Briatin, 6-2...........In Reno, Adrian Cardenas had a single and a walk, and scored a run for Sacramento in the River Cat's 14-7 win over the Aces.............. Jason Jaramillo was 1 for 4, and threw out 1 of 3 Toledo baserunners stealing for Indianapolis, as Indy edged the Mud Hens, 4-2.............I have located Jonathan Villar, who was traded in the Roy Oswalt deal right off of Lakewood's roster last summer. Villar is playing at Lancaster in the California League, and is hitting .333 with the Houston affiliate with 3 doubles, a triple, a home run, 12 RBI and 8 steals in 9 attempts in 13 games so far for the JetHawks.
