Sanchez start pushed back by rain

Friday night in Oklahoma City, Sergio Escalona threw 2.2 innings of relief for the RedHawks allowing just 1 run on 1 hit, while striking out 3. He was awarded a "hold", his 2nd this season, as Oklahoma City beat Albuquerque, 7-4.............In Tacoma, Adrian Cardenas was 1 for 3 for Sacramento, as the River Cats edged the Rainiers, 6-5............In Scranton, Greg Golson was 1 for 2 and scored a run for the Yankees, who beat the Bisons, 5-3. Golson was pinch hit for in the 4th inning, I am not sure why but will look into it......In Durham, R.J. Swindel used just 2 pitches to retire the only hitter he faced in Durham's 8-3 win over Norfolk.................In Binghamton, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats rallied for 2 in the 9th to top the Mets, 2-1. Anthony Gose and Travis d'Arnaud were each 0 for 3 with a walk for the Cats........Jesus Sanchez' scheduled start was rained out in Birmingham Friday and he will pitch in one of the games of Saturday's make up doubleheader.
