Tuesday's notes

The Brewers offense exploded for 9 runs on 13 hits Tuesday night in Philadelphia and defeated Roy Halladay and the Phillies, 9-0. Ryan Howard had a walk in 3 plate appearances, Carlos Ruiz was 0 for 1 and was hit by a pitch. Mike Zagurski got into the game late, and faced 3 hitters- 1 walk, 1 hit and 1 K. .......In Toronto, the Blue Jays scored 2 in the 9th, and then again in the 10th to take a 6-5 win from the Yankees. Kyle Drabek started for Toronto, and made it through 5.1 innings. Struggling with 4 walks and 6 hits allowed, he was charged with 4 runs altogether......In New York, Michael Bourn had 2 hits and a walk, scored 2 runs and stole a base (8 for 8), inspiring the Astros to a 6-1 win over the Mets. Taylor Buchholz did pitch a 1-2-3 inning for New York........In Kansas City, Lou Marson (.357) had a 2-run double for the Cleveland Indians, beginning a comback, but the Tribe came up short against the Royals, 5-4.
