Vance Worley was strong for 6 innings, allowing just 4 hits and 1 walk, striking out 9! Mike Stutes recorded 4 outs in the game, with 3 Ks, and Scott Mathieson threw the 9th, allowing a run on a hit and a walk. Of the 4 hits Worley allowed, 2 were by Greg Golson, a single and double.......In Gwinnett, the Braves edged the Durham Bulls, 2-1, but R.J. Swindel threw a scoreless inning for Durham.
