Red hot Rizz, Cody power R-Phils

The combination of Matt Rizzotti and Cody Overbeck continues to carry the red-hot Reading Phillies to another win, this one a come from behind 8-6 thiumph over Erie. Rizzotti (.404) had a single, 2 doubles, a walk, scored 3 runs and drove one in and Overbeck (.360) had a single, a double, a home run (his 6th) and drove in 4 runs as Reading improved to 9-4. Steve Susdorf (.280) also homered, and it was a big one, a 2-run shot in the 6th inning to tie the game at 4-4, and Freddy Galvis added 2 hits and scored a run. Mike Cisco was the winning pitcher, doing 2.2 innings of work as the Phillies made their comeback, and Justin De Fratus threw the final inning and recorded a save. The first place Phillies, who lead New Britain and New Hampshire both by 1.5 games, will be off today and open a series in Akron Thursday night.
