In Lakeland, the Flying Tigers defeated the Threshers, 4-2. Jonathan Pettibone started and looked very good for 4 inning, before Lakeland got to him for 4 in the 5th. In his 5 innings, Pettibone allowed the 4 runs on 5 hits and 5 walks (tto many), striking out 2, and losing his first decision of the season (3-1, 1.55).
