Durant injury

Michael Durant went down in Lakewood's 3-1 loss to Greensboro tonight. He slipped going around second base and had to be helped from the field, putting no pressure on his left leg. The problem is the left ankle. The latest from doctors is no fracture, but he was casted. He anticipates missing about 3 weeks. This is a big blow to Michael's season (his 10 home runs has him on pace to set a new BlueClaw record), and leaves a big hole in Lakewood's line up. Other guys will need to step up. The slack will fall mainly to Matt Rizzotti and Karl Bolt, but everyone will have to pick it up a notch.
