The week that was

My life has kept me away from the computer this week, but lets check the highlights. The BlueClaws ran into a buzz saw called the Greensboro Grasshoppers this week in North Carolina. The 'Hoppers won all 4 games from Lakewood, despite the fact that the BlueClaws had a LEAST a 3-run lead in each game. Lakewood should be happy to get home, where they were immediately rained out Friday night. They will play 2 today, first game is scheduled for 4:00 start. Lakewood will play 4 with West Virginia, before hoping to exact some revenge on Greensboro. The Grasshoppers are here Tuesday through Friday next week. Greensboro is the same team that derailed Lakewood and their playoff run in the second half last year. In all, Greensboro took 10 of 12 from us in 2007, and has now won 4 straight this year, giving the Marlin's affiliate a run of 13 win in the last 14 meetings. Enough is enough. Lets beat these guys!!!
