The Phillies dropped a 4-3 decision to the Blue Jays last night in Dunedin, Sergio Escalona gave up the winning run in the bottom of the 8th inning, allowing a walk and a hit, while picking up a strike out.

The Phils will take on the Tigers Saturday, with J.A. Happ among the pitchers on the schedule to work.

Atlanta 2-hit Houston last night, creaming the Astros, 13-0. Michael Bourn was 0 for 3.

In the World Baseball Classic in Tokyo, China eliminated Chinese Taipei, 4-1 to stay alive, and then Japan blasted Korea 14-2. The victory automatically moves the defending champs into the next round in San Diego while Korea will take on China in an elimination game. The winner of that game will also advance, but will take on Japan before leaving Tokyo.

Games begin in 2 more pools today with, including the USA against Canada in Toronto. Check my previous posts for all of today's games, or go to http://worldbaseballclassic.com to see the entire schedule for the tournament.
