Phillies rally comes up short

In a game where no HomeSiders played for Philadelphia, the Astros beat the Phillies, 6-5 Friday in Kissimmee. Michael Bourn did play for Houston, going 0 for 4. The Royals beat the Dodgers, 4-1 at Camelback Ranch in Arizona. Robinson Tejeda pitched the ninth inning for KC, allowing 1 run on a hit and 2 walks, but struck out the side in the process. Jason Jaramillo was 0 for 1 in Pittsburgh's 4-1 loss to Toronto.

Minor league highlights include Jeremy Slayden 2 for 3, a double and a home run, Javon Moran 3 walks in 3 at bats, Gus Milner 2 singles, a double, a stolen base and 3 runs scored, Tuffy Gosewisch 2 singles and 3 RBI, Matt Rizzotti 2 singles and a home run, Freddy Galvis a single and a double, with 2 RBI and a run scored, and a home run for Travis D'Arnaud.
